In addition, Barrett has owned over 20 investment properties and has built two single family homes and renovated many apartment buildings. He has considerable experience in commercial property leasing, construction issues, and condominium management. Over the years Barrett handled the sale of the Ames Shopping Plaza in Berlin and the Gallagher Flynn building in Burlington. Additionally, he has also handled the sale of some of the finest buildings in Montpelier, including the Capital apartment building, the former Cody Block, the Dr. Tomasi Block and the large Bar Mar complex near the capitol. LEONEL GREGOIRE REAL ESTATE was established in 1956.  Leonel is the principal broker, his wife Madeline Tomasi worked for Dr. Kingston for 13 years and has always managed the Real Estate office.  Their son Barrett a Broker, has been with the family  business for 23 years. Leonel is also President of Mill Street Corpoaration and a past President of Calder & Richardson Coporation.  His past affilations included Central Vermont Chamber of Commerce, a nineteen year member of the Lions Club, and a member of the Associated Industries of Vermont. Leonel took his basic trainng with the 101st Airborne Division and then graduated from an Army Specialist school in Breckinridge Kentucky.  He was then sent to Japan and on to Korea where he spent 11/2 years with the 45th Division and 51/2 months in the combat zone.  He received the Korean Presidential citation, Bronze Star plus two special commendations for meritorious service. The Gregoire's have five children and six grandchildren.
